From the South: Take the M6 motorway to Junction 36, then follow the A591 towards Rydal. Turn right at the sign for Rydal Hall near Rydal Church, and after 200 yards, turn right again.

From the North: Exit the M6 at Junction 40, then take the A591 to Rydal. Turn right at the sign for Rydal Hall near Rydal Church, and after 200 yards, turn right again.
By Train:

The nearest railway station is Windermere, approximately 4 miles from Rydal Hall. Windermere station is accessible via Oxenholme on the West Coast Main Line.

From Windermere station, you can take the 555 bus, which stops near Rydal Hall. The bus will drop you at the bottom of the hill; from there, it's a short walk up to Rydal Hall and Gardens on your right.
